Principle of Adaptive Surface Oil Skimming

The floating suction inlet automatically adjusts its height with the tank liquid level, keeping it near the surface at all times. The equipment prioritizes collecting floating oil and sludge from the top layer, minimizing simultaneous intake of bulk liquid to improve oil-water separation efficiency and accommodate continuous fluctuations during production.

          01

          Idle

The floating suction inlet stays at the liquid surface via buoyancy, with its upper edge aligned to the surface.

          02

          Suction sinking, surface overflow

After the pump starts, the suction inlet sinks slightly. Surface floating oil flows over the upper rim from all sides into the suction inlet, reducing the intake of deep tank solution.

          03

          Buoyancy recovery, adaptive balance

Buoyancy lifts the suction inlet back up, bringing its upper edge close to the liquid surface again. As the liquid level changes, the inlet automatically adjusts its height to maintain dynamic equilibrium.

Pre-treatment: Accumulation of floating oil on the tank surfaceBefore processing

Before: Heavy accumulation of surface oil in the trough, with an oil layer covering the liquid surface and severe cutting fluid contamination.

After processing: Surface oil removed, tank solution restored to clean condition.Processed

Post-processing: Surface oil is continuously separated and removed, restoring the tank to a clean state and significantly reducing maintenance pressure.

Pre-treatment: Long trough with surface oil filmBefore processing

Before treatment: The long trough surface was covered with brownish floating oil.

After processing: the liquid tank is restored to clean condition.Processed

Post-processing: Skimmed oil removed; tank solution restored to uniform, clean condition.
